Catechism

A 2-year program of catechism instruction is offered to 7th and 8th grade students at St. John's. The class meets for an hour and a half each week. A typical class consists of reviewing a lesson, taking a quiz on the previous period's material, and learning a new lesson. In addition, students are expected to memorize Luther's Small Catechism during the course of the year. Students are also required to turn in two sermon summaries per month.
